Maxim Terweij

Maxim specialises in corporate law and contract law. He advises companies, entrepreneurs, founders and (institutional) investors in the area of M&A. His practice is focusing on mid-market transactions, including private equity and venture capital transactions, joint ventures, participations, financing and restructurings.

Maxim also advises clients in other areas of corporate law, such as corporate governance, employee co-determination and commercial contracting. He also represents clients in disputes within a company or between different companies.

Before joining Norbruis Clement Advocaten, Maxim worked at Stibbe for 4 years.

Maxim has studied at the University of Amsterdam (UvA), the Free University (VU) (LLM Ondernemingsrecht aan de Zuidas) and Columbia Law School in the City of New York. In addition, Maxim finished the Law Firm School. His command of English is excellent.
